January Affirmation

Today is the most glorious day of my life and every day I remember to reclaim this truth. As I celebrate the unfolding of a new year, I begin by living into my Yesness. Yes, I begin to say yes to all that is good. I see that there is a path of Yes laid out before me and I follow all the well- marked signs. This path leads me to living a prosperous, harmonious and wildly loving life as I welcome Spirit to fully express through me by living into my Yes.

The Center for Spiritual Living began its journey as Religious Science of Montclair, opening its doors on Sunday, October 6, 2002. For the previous 8 months friends and supporters gathered together in Reverend Michelle's home feeding each other, praying together, and visioning into existence our present Center.

We are a collection of experienced and new Religious Scientists dedicated to growing through the application of the Science of Mind teaching. We seek to bring the teaching alive by being walking examples.

We are a mix of people of different ages, colors, previous religious affiliations and socioeconomic backgrounds coming together to embody one truth and one truth only...

Supported by Our Vision, we strive to do the following at our Center:

* Cultivate a Relationship with God, Spirit, Universal Love, Divine Wisdom, Intelligence by any name.

* Teach the tools of Science of Mind by making them understandable and absolutely practical.

* Become emotionally healthy through the use of spiritual mind treatment (affirmative prayer), the practice of forgiveness and a devotion to taking self-responsibility.

* Be a power for good in the world by being the change we want to see.

Our Spiritual Director

Reverend Michelle Wadleigh has been practicing the Science of Mind teaching for more than 14 years and founded our Center in 2002. Not only does she embody the teaching but her playful nature creates an open, safe and loving atmosphere conducive to personal transformation.

Rev. Michelle is the mother of three beautiful sons. As a parent she brings a deep understanding and appreciation for what it takes to keep a family thriving and happy. She has a reputation for bringing unconditional love wherever she goes and for being deeply compassionate. Once you hear her laugh, you'll know she's working on God's team all the time.
