Interdependence is a concept that was sparked by Stephen R. Covey in his book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. A healthy community is only built on healthy parts. If there is a weak link in a chain, our first job is to support and shore up that link. The same is true in a community. Successful interdependence is "dependent' upon each individual having a strong sense of "independence." Let's look at how we can integrate this concept into our lives.
